Behind the glitz, there lie some dark and dirty secrets of industry that reveals the reality which is coated in glamour and artificial glory.
1. A list actors being a part of B grade movies
Bollywood industry has many talented actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and many others. All of them are A-list actors who have given some of the most successful movies in the history of Indian cinema. But to everyone’s surprise, these actors have worked in B-grade movies which had bedroom scenes including frontal nudity. Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif have worked in Boom; Akshay Kumar worked in Mr Bond while Shah Rukh Khan worked in Maya Memsaab.
2. Cheating on partners
Bollywood stars give us major relationship goals and portray perfect love stories on screen but their real lives are way too contrasting that their reel lives. Many actors like Raj Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Dilip Kumar have cheated shamelessly on their partners.
3. Racism, regionalism and discrimination
Racism, regionalism and discrimination prevail in Bollywood. From Bipasha Basu to Smita Patil and from Dhanush to Manoj Bajpayee, everybody had their own share of discrimination and racism. Many people in Bollywood believe that to be a successful actor one has to be good looking and should have fair skin.

Actors like Sanjay Dutt, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Singh have been known for their addiction for coke while veteran actor Dharmendra has been known for his alcohol addiction for many years.
5. Depression and mental sickness
Bollywood celebrities look full of life from outside but what they feel from inside is far behind our imaginations. Many actors like Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have suffered from depression in spite of their successful careers. Actress Parveen Babi spent several years in a mental hospital in the USA and ultimately lost her life while fighting a battle against depression.
6. Losing virginity at an early age
Few Bollywood actors like Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have admitted that they have lost their virginity at a very young age. Ranveer Singh lost his virginity at the age of 12 while Ranbir Kapoor lost his at the age of 15. Well, in contrast to that there are actors like Salman Khan who still claim themselves as virgins. Funny, isn’t it?
7. Having extra marital affairs
Extra marital affairs are considered no big deal in Bollywood industry. Actors like Govinda and Dharmendra have accepted having one. Govinda accepted of having an extra marital affair with Rani Mukherjee while Dharemendra had it with Hema Malini before marrying her. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar have also been alleged to have extra marital affairs.
8. Connection with underworld dons
Famous Bollywood actresses like Mamta Kulkarni, Monica Bedi and Mandakini have dated underworld dons and have been spotted together with them many times. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt spent many years behind bars for his relations with Mumbai underworld dons and for the possession of illegal arms.
9. Being threatened for their work
Many Bollywood celebrities have got threats either from underworld or from their rivals for the work they do. In 2001, Rakesh Roshan was shot by two shooters while on his way to his office. Apart from this, many celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar have got underworld threats for their works.
